Artist History It all started in europe. Horace weintraub, a young british model, inspired by the eastern euro sound of polka, and the poppy sounds of new wave, decided to move to los angeles and create the worlds first new wave polka band.The idea behind it at first was to be a traditional band. But after horace became bored with the main stream music scene, he decided to detach himself from the ranks of the typical vocalist/musician. He then started turning his songwriting skills and talents into a form known as the "anti-band." One which doesnt abide by the rules of normal music. His idea was to create a performance, not a band. He felt you didnt have to take yourself seriously to be serious. How else could songs be written about pornos, stool, b.o and homo eroticism be available? There is a message behind horace weintraub, "happiness is knowing horace weintraub." plain and simple
