Artist description
Danny's songs are entertaining and fun, painting musical vignettes that explore the everyday idiosyncrasies of life. Whether it's jumping from a roof in an attempt to fly as a child, or developing an allergic reaction to work, Danny's songs capture the folly of the human experience in ways that leave us smiling. The Sandock catalog sprang to life in 1997 with the release of his debut CD, "Back to Unreality". Working between Bloomington and Indianapolis at the time, the cd received radio airplay and was supported with solo, duo and band gigs in the area. The positive reception to the CD led to two songs being released as singles on the Nashville-based "Charlie Ray Presents" compilation series alongside such notable artists as Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Kitty Wells, and The Mavericks. The compilations received international radio exposure. After recording 3 tracks in south Florida in January 2000, several gigs were booked in Austin in March and became a catalyst for a move. Danny completed tracking and mixing his 2nd full-length CD, "One For All Seasons" in Austin between May and October. |
