Artist History
Baldassare Cervello, A.K.A. Baldo Brandi, was born in Palermo (Italy), 24 02 1966.Since a boy, he began to love music and composition. He studied music on his own and he learned to play piano.Since 1989 till now, he worked with very famous vocalists and musicians, like Veronica Scotch, Nico dei Gabbiani and Mario Renzi.He song in several music happenings: Festival del sud (1993), Sanremo Famosi (1994)... and he was able to be always one of the first artists in these italian competitions.Since 1995 Baldo Brandi is a well known pub keyboardist, singing many famous italian and international songs.He was also the guest star in two famous Radio and TV programmes: "Ciao Italia", "Sotto a chi tocca" and "Sanremo dietro le quinte".Since 1997 he is a chorist in the Palermitan University Chorus.His most important work is a CD called "Fantasie di un cantautore" (1999), with 14 songs.At the beginning of 2000, he wrote a song called "Viva il giubileo" which is published.In June 2000 he composed a latin piece performed by the violinist Mario Renzi in the happening "Trofeo Stefania Rotolo". |
