Artist description We are neon debris. We are explicit pop thrills and high intelligence. Beyond cliché, we mock the severed gestures of modern life. We are compelled to excess, compelled to acceleration, by the betrayal of purity that always happens and so convey all the fury of love and hatred. Surrounded by no-lust voids, we have had to become our own icons, all political sex death, trying to inject some meaning and excitement into the boredom and lies we are drowning in; ‘Nothing is true except our conviction that the world we are asked to accept is false’. We are blistered, viscous modern wreckage, an A-bomb kiss, fuelled by glamour and destruction. We are fully intent and always willing, our bodies rent with glitter and blood. We are bored, pure, and all you have left.
