Artist History
Shabazz has worked behind the scenes as a writer and producer for many years. He has worked with some of the most successful recording artists this industry has seen. His writing and production skills contributed to the #1Bell, Biv, Devoe single, “Thought It Was Me.” Shabazz wrote and produced; “Turn Off The Radio,” for Ice Cube’s Amerikka’s Most Wanted album. Long Island group Mobb Depp Shabazz’s neighbor worked on their debut album, “ Juvenile Hell” with Shabazz producing at his Long Island studios. As a member of the infamous Bomb Squad production team he has worked on many of Public Enemy's albums.His most recent works include; producing and composing commercial jingles for Coco-Cola, and movie soundtracks. He also did some scoring for the television show. New York Undercover. He has worked very closely with Chuck D, Busta Rhymes, Hank Shockley, Mtume, and Gamble & Huff. Having been behind the scenes , Shabazz is now ready to step up front and bring his music to the world as only he can. He is a Long Island (Strong Island) New York native, who now resides in Atlanta. He is influenced by the Bands of the 70’s and hip hop artists of today. His music brings the spirit of unity in a unique way. |
