Artist description Tripwire is a Fresno band that spawned about a year and a half ago from some chance meetings between band members. Tripwire brings a different sound to heavy music, as we know it today. With guitar tracks that span the realms of melody and chugging grooves. Rock solid drum playing with double bass roles and time consuming fills. And then there’s the cherry popping bass lines that are influenced by jazz and rock styles swirling around the overall structure of the music. The scorching guitar solos add to the mix a flavor of their own. Influences vary from member to member, ranging from Pantera and Metallica to Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. We're here to show that Limp Bizkit and Korn aren't the only standards of metal today.
