Artist description Hogmolly is an acoustic trio, featuring Bo Brown, (Guitar, Mandolin), Matt Maydew (Fiddle, Mandolin) and Jeff Sowards (Bass). Their music is an eclectic mix of Bluegrass, Funk, R&B and Swing, thrown into a high energy original sound. Jeff's vocals are reminescent of something between John Cowan (New Grass Revival) and Greg Allman, featured in his many original songs. The group's vocal harmony sound ranges from gospel blues and bluegrass to 60's rock, overlaying lots of hot picking by Matt and Bo.
