Artist description Even Johansen is a well-known artist in Norway and in the UK for his work in bands like Chocolate Overdose and Libido.He is still the singer and composer in London based LIBIDO, but with some time on his hands inbetween records he has made his first solo album ”Quiet and Still”. To make it a real solo album he plays all the instruments himself and has also produced and engineered the album.Even lives in Dumfries, Scotland, a place he describes as ugly and depressing. This is where he has made the album spending nights at the kitchen table with his guitar, he then went to his hometown Bergen, Norway to record it only interrupted with trips to London to play with Libido where he is still an active member.Libido launched their debut album ”Killing some dead time” on Fire Records throughout the world and received critical acclaim in the British press, and a world tour followed playing support for Swervedriver.

The doctor ”prescribed” a tattoo of a magnet on his left forearm so that it could attract iron.Wacky or not, Even has never had problems with his throat or lack of iron since!
