Artist History Chrissy Matanane is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from Tampa, Florida. She studies music composition at the University of South Florida. She has been a finalist in America's Best High School Songwriting Competition in 1995/1996, and has received an Honorable Mention Certificate from Billboard Songwriting Contest in 1997. Besides pop music, she composes for many genres including dance, techno, R&B and country. Her chamber works have been performed by members of the USF Symphony Orchestra. She is currently working at SYCOM Studios in Tampa, engineering and producing her own solo album.
