Artist description
The might of the band is in diversification of musical
stuff. Lead guitar's steam hammer interchanges
with tender solo picking and the extraordinarily
tuneful things.
As amusing as serious, "Ablom" is a successor of
the whole wave of Russian rock, though it's
appreciable the influence of various artists
overall. Guitar school is well fed on different
west sources. And indeed it played by hearts.
How could the band of such scale and potential
appear in small town distant from all music centers?
God knows but it's clear that without extremly
love to freedom and rock'n'roll, nothing could
stand there. The band exists at an unique
crossroads of rock music styles and can create a
couple of hits. Never issued on compact discs.
The band is underground project now. It performs
Russian melodious guitar rock. It has four albums
widely known in narrow circles. The band has an
unlimited potential and big luggage of miscellaneous
songs. |

Musical Influences
Spreads from russian rock wave to classic rock and even thrash. That's fun but Paul Stain (solo guitar) loves different music, vary from electronic to thrash, but Mike (song writer) prefer the coryphaei of russian rock music. When he was a teen ager he listened to Kino, Zoopark and Alisa, but later he prefered to Boris Grebenshikov. But Paul came the way from euro pop and rock to heavy metal, thrash and later even electronic, but now found juzz and avant guard. |
