Artist History The original quartet has remained intact since the band's birth in 2000. Nick Collins on vocals and charisma. Shaun Brening, an 80's-bred axeman with his screaming Wolfgang guitar; he is Nick's reflective brother-in-arms. Bassist Dustin Albright, forever adding new ideas and humor to the palette. Pat Cruise, the sound of constant thunder, and metal bread rythm guitarist, Shane Cook. Great songs, great playing, and great chemistry, with this band you only get the best. The songs included on Von Boa's "Eyes Of Yesterday" range from metal to melody. The platter is full of tasty treats like "Walking On A Thin Line," "1985," "The Man Inside," "Kickin' It 80's Style," and ofcourse "Eye's Of Yesterday." Can you taste it yet? Musically they are said to be playing pure 80s Rock and after hearing their song I had my doubts. "Eyes of yesterday" has an 80s approach, but the raw vocals make it sound more 90s orientated, maybe something VAN HALEN could've come up with. I would call this band a Rock band with an updated 80s approach. The guitarsound is melodic, but vocally it is not that melodic which makes this band just another nice band… so far!
