Artist History In November 2003 standardthompson "bittersilvermorning" was released. Produced by st and Jon Tranberry the cd has came out with very strong positive feedback from the early listens. Standardthompson began in Surrey, ND in 1996. The group independently released two full length albums. The 1997 release "Because You're Young". And the 1999 release "Diva". Both records sold very well in the area. The group created a local buzz, getting press attention, radio airplay and achieving state wide recognition. The band played many packed shows in many venues, on college campuses, highschools, bars and clubs. The largest show North Dakotas' All Seasons Arena opening for the group 'Dogstar' featuring Keanu Reeves. In the fall of 1999 the group decided to join the celebrated Minneapolis music. The group has now played shows in the Twin Cities, North Dakota and Chicago. After original member Nick departed and drumming phenom Erick joined the well known group GB Leighton. Standardthompson has rebuilt. Original members Mike Hj and Loren, long time keyboard player D. ST has added a cute guy who can play geeetar and sing really well (Ben). And another handsome fellow who can drum like Tommy Lee(besides the enormous wang and the tattoos) Jesse. Standardthompson is currently booking a show calender in support of the newly released "bittersilvermorning".
