Artist description
Sweden's Naglfar are the audial equivalent of a F-5 Tornado that's headed directly towards your cranium. Blistering fast yet inescapably melodic and memorable, Naglfar is one of the current crop of Swedish bands doing things a bit differently |

Artist History
NAGLFAR formed in 1992 and shortly thereafter released the now classic demo Stella Trajectio. Word spread like wildfire in the underground and eventually reached Wrong Again Records who later unleashed the monumental Vittra in late 1995. In January and Febuary of this year NAGLFAR entered the studio to record their second full-length, Diabolical, this time for WAR Music. Guitars like spiders, weaving sonic tapestries from hell.... commanding rhythm patterns, projecting visions of pagan warriors going berserk.... but let's not forget the vocals. The tormented screams of Jens Ryden will bring back every nightmare you've ever had! Compared to Vittra, Diabolical is even faster and more intense, retaining the special feeling for melody that showcases the Swedish origin of the ferocious five-piece. NAGLFAR is purely for listeners able to confront the powers of darkness. |
