Artist History Student Rick was formed during the spring of 1999 in South Bend, Indiana. There was an immediate spark that formed between these young musicians that fuels their music. Since that spring around one year ago, they have dedicated their lives to the band. It didn't take long before they were getting recognized and placed on shows opening for such bands as Catch 22, Fairweather, and Further Seems Forever just to name a few. Student Rick’s songs are full of emotion and they are pleasing to hear. The harmonization of vocals between Adam Reiter and Brett Jones makes chills go down the spines of fans. The song writing abilities of each member are simply amazing. You can almost relive the heartbreak that was felt by the members as they perform. For example, when performing “Anniversary”, Adam often sheds tears of sorrow as he reminisces about his relationship with his ex-girlfriend. Their songs range from feeling lost in life, to missing old times in high school. Many obstacles have put a fork in the road to try to stop the band from achieving their goal, but nothing has stopped them yet. In fact, it just inspires them to stay dedicated and work harder for their dream. Student Rick brings forth a style of emotional rock and roll that will take your breath away with a powerful rhythms and touching lyrics. In closing, they met each other in search of the same dream. Now, they are trying to make that dream a reality.
