Artist description
When not spinning deep trance at such NYC clubs as Limelight, Cheetah, and Gemini Lounge, David Christopher is holed up in his home recording studio creating warped tracks to play to his friends while they are under the influence of a narcotic substance. David takes great pride in warping sounds to create little wriggling worms that burrow their way into the deepest realms of your subconscious via your earholes. |

Artist History
David Christopher has been producing all sorts of music for many years, from hip hop to trip hop to trance. He was last seen making very ill songs with Ekstasis (cd available on www.cdbaby.com). The official bio:David Christopher was first bitten by the DJ bug when he was ten years old, scratching up a B-52s record on his uncle’s turntable. Influenced by the hip-hop movement of the late 80s and early 90s, David pursued a career in rap music during his teenage years and released a CD under the name of Decibolikal. However, as the purity of hip hop became diluted and commercialized during the late 90s, David found himself turning to a new outlet for his creative impulses: electronic music.David was in a bit of a conundrum in his early days of mixing electronic music. Buying wax from a variety of genres, David could not settle on a style that he could put his heart and soul into. Then, in 1998, David came across Paul Oakenfold’s Tranceport, and it was like being struck by lightning. Trance moved him like no other form of music, and it was the kind of music that he wanted to share with others. After hearing performances by DJs such as Christopher Lawrence, Micro, and Sandra Collins, David further refined his style to include deeper trance and progressive house records.David is currently on the artist rosters for Intermission Artist Management/Bubblecrew (NY) and PolarEyes Music (CT), and is the founder of HeadRush Music (www.headrushmusic.com), spinning at and organizing parties for New York City clubs such as Limelight, Cheetah, Bar Code, and Gemini Lounge. Before picking up the wheels of steel, David was part of the production duo Ekstasis, whose independent release can be purchased at cdbaby.com.
