Artist description
Chamber Music PLUS in its 22nd season, was founded in 1980 by the Clark-Schuldmann Duo
to collaborate with fellow performers and composers in the beauties of chamber music; the most personal and intimate form of classical music. Some 500 concerts, 2500 works (150 of these world premieres) later, CMP is hailed regionally and nationally as one of the most active and most innovative chamber music organizations in the country.
Currently resident ensemble of the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, CMP also serves as artists-in-residence as ensemble Fidelio at Quinnipiac University, tours regularly throughout the U.S, created a line of recording entitled Chamber Music Presents, and maintains an active commitment to youth with Music Speaks To Me, an arts-in-education program serving nearly 3000 grade school students statewide.
