Artist description
ANTI-M has been making music since the late 1980's. Primarily a studio band we have enjoyed working with talented musicians such as Ronnie Montrose. Our goal has been to take our influences from the 70's(Genesis, The Who, Yes, Bowie), 80's (Peter Murphy, The Fixx, Duran Duran) and 90's (Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica) to create our own unique sound. Artist History
Anti-m formed in 1986 when John (Wedge) Wardlaw and Mark Rumer got together to write some keyboard and drum machine based instrumental music. Many of the songs they wrote sat around as demos until Wedge hooked up with Ruston Slager. The three took the ear ly demos and some new songs to create the concept album NO WAVES IN HELL in 1992. In 1995 we released Positively Negative with guest Guitarist Ronnie Montrose on 4 songs. The band soundtracked the Independenat film YOU ONLY DIE ONCE in 1997 and then released an instrumental remix album IT HURTS 2000 in y2k. Currently the band is working on its new album, DAMAGE.ô |
