Artist description The Adult Film Stars is the project of Seattle singer/songwriter G. Paulsen, who plays most every instrument on the upcoming debut album 'Money Shot'. Paulsen first started playing music in the early 90’s in Spank the Monkey, a punk/funk band based in Minneapolis. Spank the Monkey released one album, 'Pets or Meat', on Channel 83 Records shortly before the group disbanded in 1993. Recorded mostly by Paulsen out of his living room, Money Shot is an eclectic mix of moody songs that defies musical category. Paulsen prefers to describe The Adult Film Stars Music as “Adult Contemporary Rock on Prozac”.
