    Artist History
Born in Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory, Bill spent his early years living with his family in the far north. His father was a Hudson's Bay Company fur trader and his mother, a school teacher. He began writing songs at the age of twenty and got his first big opportunity when he was asked to write the song "Ojibway Country" for the first ever IMAX film, "North Of Superior". Since then, he has made only two albums, having raised a family rather than do music full time. Now with his children almost grown Bill is beginning to return to his first love, music and the craft of songwriting.
