Artist description MAN, ARE WE PISSED. Snaggletooth is a two-fisted, straight talking, ass kicking, name taking rock group of motherfuckers from upstate New York. They take the vitality of rock to the obvious conclusion without the drawback of a genre style. They instead stitch together bits of different styles as though they were Frankenstein. The stitches gape and ooze but these bastards keep on playing. Limbs are falling off but the monster still breathes, damnit. They touch on all aspects of aggressive rock and roll, mailny heavy as hell-all-get-out but there is a touch of the stoner rock amidst the churning din of metal, hardcore, indie-noise, and biker rock. These boys groove, but stay true to their underground roots and don't fall prey to the demons of hippy shit. The band has been together for eight years, six with the current lineup. They are a unit of music where in all parts equal the sum. Very sparse soloing creates an element solidarity to the rythm which could easily crumble if played by a different band. hey have spent a decade under the shadow of cock rockers disguised as "alternative" and boy howdy are they ready to go in swinging. Does anyone really read this stuff???

HAVE BACKED UP MANY NATIONAL ACTS INCLUDING EYEHATEGOD, KEELHAUL, HIGH ON FIRE, ACID KING, BRUTAL TRUTH, GORGUTS, BIOHAZARD, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, CRISIS, SAM BLACK CHURCH, and TREE. Rochester promoters look to these guys, "the Ronald Reagans of Rochester Rock," to show up "on time and sober." They have never missed a show that was booked.Loud, yelling music is nothing new but what seperates these boys from the pack is that they play it with soul. They believe that what they play is the greatest rock and roll music in the world. If a band doesn't believe that, then they should give up. If they do, they are always worth hearing.

Played drums for a good legnth of time ('90) knows what happens when stick hits skin. likes battle axes and totemic animal is the bear. dave-guitar, makes sloppy playing sound good has unique style of playing and doesn't get all gushy and melodramatic at it. Been playing since '90 likes ninja swords and totemic animal is the dog. harley-bass as all bass can be...thunderous use of appropriate effects to create a beast beneath the small town of Snaggletooth which on occasion will rise and devour a small boy.
