Artist History Optical Faze, a 6-piece from the new generation of Brazilian metal bands, native of the estate Brasilia, have already fazed and incited people to rock the mosh pit all around the Brazilian territory, and they are ready to continue doing it all around the globe. The band was formed on february 2000 by remaining members of t Sepultura cover band called Amok. One guitarrist, one drummer and one bassist started the search for another guitar player and a singer. The seek to a singer ended when they called the band's friend Marco, an aspirant singer, to do an audition. The raw, aggressive and angry style of Marco's singing and lyrics satisfied immediatelly the other members of the band that at that time, was formed by Renato, Vicente and Mateus. The next step was finding the second guitarrist, who ended up to be Jorge, making his debut as a guitarrist in a band. Months before Marco joined the band, he was called by Renato to do an audition. And his performance on the rehearseal didnt disappoint the band, so he filled the spot left by the former guitarrist Pirulito. Everyone thought the band was complete, but they felt they needed to go one step further. And this step was Pedro, a constant presence on the bandīs initial reherseals and experient musician, who started to play the keyboards on the band. Once with the definitive line-up, Optical Faze is still working hard, playing true, honest, heavy music for the masses, with infinite hopes on getting somewhere with their music. And actually, with their love for playing music, they already are in a very good place.
