Press Reviews I can understand why Darkthrone`s Nocturno Culto likes this, and I assume the guys in Endsum like Darkthrone. Endsum is not a copy of Darkthrone, but they possess much of the same feeling. There are many cold, coarse and heavy parts, and most of the riffs are very good. Some of them are in fact quite original, and it sounds like the black metal of ‘92. A breath of fresh air in the otherwise synth-infested, pompous black metal genre. - Monster Mag #1, Martin Kvam. Endsum is a newly formed black metal band, based in Trysil (Norway). There is more than black metal in this band’s music. The tempo is never too high, and all three songs contain some quite cool heavy metal riffs. Some old thrash metal inspirasion also shines through. The sound is ok for a demo and is fairly clean. Endsum creates an evil atmosphere with their music, and the vocals are also pretty good. In other words, way above average for this genre. - Scream Magazine #57, Leif Kringen.
