Brian Dolph is a singer songwriter who describes much of his music as "Heavy Mellow". Some of his more recent recordings have taken on a new edge as he continues to grow with his music. Most of what Brian writes is co-written by his long time partner Larry Tilander. |

Artist History
Brian recorded his first songs in Nashville during sessions in 1993. His first single "One Day Blue"was released on a limited basis to radio. Brian continued to record and released a couple of more songs as an independent artist to radio, however was not quite able to get past the politics of the music industry. After a hiatis of several years Brian released a single on HILLCREST Records in the summer of 1999. The song "You Got That Right" was recorded in Nashville during a session in 1994 with veteran producer Les Ladd. The song charted in Canada as well as in Europe. It was back into the studio that fall for Brian with some new songs, a new studio and a new producer, Ken Greer formerly of Red Ryder. In an unusual move Brian released two songs to commercial radio at the same time. A new song from his recent sessions with Ken Greer as well as a song recorded several years earlier during the Nashville sessions.One of the songs, "The Way That It Is" entered the European Country Music Association Indie charts at #14.The song also hit the Canadian country charts as well. The second song also did well hitting a high of #2 on the national charts of Denmark. Since then Brian has released 3 more songs to radio worldwide. Two of the songs have charted in Europe including a high of #29 on the ECMA Pan European Top 75. One of the songs topped out at #4 in Germany while the other currently enjoys the #69 position in the ECMA Top 75 charts as well as the #8 position on the French Indie Country Chart. His current single release,"Cedric The Christmas Elf"has been released to over 800 radio stations throuhout Europe on Silver Heart Records. |
