Artist History Johan had been playing with both John and Joel in other bands so he was an obvious choice when John was putting a cover band together for a show in early 1998. Johan brought Joel along and John brought his brother Olle and his friend the Nancy´s Dead drummer Jim Lennerhed. They played some great shows but when there where no more shows... there was no band. After the summer John got an offer to play a gig so he put a new band together, now with his own material. Joel, Jim and Olle went along and Tomas Lauff played the bass. John and Joel wrote some really good material together and it was decided that Willowtree should continue as a band. Johan didn´t feel like being in a band but he was so impressed by the show so he didn´t hesitate at all to replace Tomas. Jim had his own band to think about so Willowtree rehearsed with some other drummers until Adde joined the group in late 1998. The band was complete and the rest is to follow.....
