Artist description
The New Glitch leads the charge in freeing the mainstream from itself. With their unique sounds, their energetic live showings, classic longevity and their uncanny ability to break new ground while crafting perfectly contagious melodies generally akin only to pop, The New Glitch, or "glitch" as they are often called, may be the best bet for a musical future. Lead by Frontman Matt Hepworth, closely supported by Brian Murphy and Chris Taylor, The New Glitch is certain to break the cycle in what was once a proud "alternative" world turned pseudo-teen-angst by the one-format Nu-Metal/Rock-Rap wonder plaguing the modern music world |

Artist History
The New Glitch was formed in 1994 while the members (then Matt Hepworth-vocals, guitar, Dash Schenck-bass and Matt Mahany-drums) were still in Highschool. They steadily built a following and in 1995 released a demo which lead to their independent release with Culture Shock Records in 1999. The album was released shortly after Brian Murphy replaced Dash on bass. Formerly known simply as "glitch", they recently changed their name so as to not be misidentified. |

Press Reviews
"When I first popped the CD into my player and hit start, I was immediately addicted. Glitch successfully combines several elements of today's popular music into its own distinctive style. This CD is definitely worth taking a second look at, especially for fans of modern music. I highly recommend Glitch's first [album] and look forward to hearing more from the band." Justin Johnson - Standard Examiner - Ogden, UT "An alternative band who knows how to rock! Check out "Pedestal" and the rest of the CD. M. Hepworth (frontman) is a genius who's influences include Bush, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin and the Foo Fighters. If you like alternative/punk, you can't live without their debut album... BUY! BUY! BUY!"
