Artist History
Sucker was born in the Rocky Mountains as a gathering of musicians from the east and west coasts. Vocalist Scotty Stoughton and guitarist/songwriter Rodney Coquia joined forces to breed the high energy rock and rap fusions that set Sucker apart from any musical act in Colorado. Combining the smooth grooves and intense rock n roll, Sucker has laid their mark throughout Colorado as well as nationally from San Diego to Seattle to Detriot to Nashville. The Sucker experience has matured with it's personell, having had contributions from original members Dennis Valencia and Carlos Perez on drums and bass, and premier bassist Sid Greenbud. Currently, Lousiana's Aaron Snyder is keeping it real with the low end and sparkling backing vocals. Aaron Ficca is keeping time and really lighting it up with his sick techno beats and rap layers. Rounding out the Sucker ridiculousness is electronic master Steve Vidaic, who is known for his work with the Motet and Open Air Ensemble. Steve's ideas and his Moog Synthesizer, along with Snyder's phoenomenal driving bass and Ficca's amazing drum loops have expanded the Sucker sound into the age of the new millenium with astounding grace and powerful integrity. Sucker has evolved into a force to be seen, heard and reckoned with, so Get On Board! |
