Artist description Hi boys and girls all over the world! Welcome to my first music web site! I'm Samantha James from Southern California. I'm 7-years-old. I started this site when I was six! I'm the lead singer and co-songwriter of my band, and my daddy, Albert James, is my manager, co-songwriter, and musician. This is my first original song on my first CD. Believe it or not, it took three months to practice and record just one song! It was hard work, but I never gave up. Artist History My mommy and daddy say that I started singing long before I started speaking. I would wail away with any music that was playing on the radio. Daddy says I sang in perfect pitch when I was two. I started making up my own melodies when I was three. And I started studying piano, guitar, ballet, tap, hip-hop, and gymnastics when I was four. My teachers noticed right away how much I love to sing, so I sang a pilgrim song solo in my kindergarten Holiday concert, and I was the youngest performer at my school's talent show, where I sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I'm going to sing at lots of events in Southern California this year. I hope I can see you there, if you'r nearby. Daddy and I had fun writing and recording "Sing and Swing," and are now having fun working on more songs. We plan to add five more songs to the first CD, then we'll start a new CD. We've also started working on my first music video, which I'll tell you about when it's done! I look forward to making great music and videos for you forever!
