Artist History Richard Huggins is a professional arranger, producer, and musical artist. His background has been mostly within the Christian music industry. He is a native of Oklahoma City but currently a resident of Tyler, TX, a city of rolling hills and pine trees located about 2 hours east of Dallas. Richard was influenced by musicians who were improvisationalists and who specialized in distinctive harmonies. He determined early on that he wanted to play in that style as well. While classically trained on both piano and organ, he has pursued on his own light pop/jazz and other styles of music.From his home-based office in Tyler as Huggins Creative Group, Richard writes musical arrangements for piano as well as choral arrangements. He also produces recordings and does music editing and typesetting. He is married to Barbara Huggins, M.D., a pediatrician, and has two daughters, Kristin and Shannon.
