Artist History
PRAY TO THE ROBOTS enters the New Age of Voodoo armed to the teeth with Tantric-Robotic Marital aid power tools, Prog-rock freakout chops, and deviled-egg space technologies by the busload. Noisy soundscapes, ambient loop-ism, folk-funk and space-dub, all vie to define the sound of PRAY TO THE ROBOTS. They all try but they just can't do it!PRAY TO THE ROBOTS have been performing together since the Assembly of Wubba (the Robot Lord). They are based in LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, home of celebrity axe murders and the PAN ROBOTIC JAZZ DEMOLITION SQUAD (P.R.J.D.S.), a creative collective of which PTTR are founding members. PRAY TO THE ROBOTS are a SEXTET in their current form, but may at any time change and/or mutate members and instrumentation, an Army of bagpipes would not be unthinkable. They recently completed recording their debut DOUBLE-CD consisting of SEVEN LONG FORM IMPROVISATIONS. Said recording is currently being processed and chakra-alligned by ESPIONAGE of the ROTATIONS laboratory, but advanced copies are rumored to be circulating throughout the Humanoid Underground |
