Artist History
A singer since the age of 11, Jesse Gomez embodies all the attributes of a seasoned professional: poise, confidence and most importantly, talent. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jesse has performed in venues that range from nightclubs to world-class destinations like Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. At age 18, Jesse signed a record contract with Epic Records by then talent scout, Chad Stuart, of the famed Chad & Jeremy British Duo of the 60’s. Jesse continued working the L.A. nightclub circuit and writing songs in the 80’s until Nashboro Records signed him to a deal that led to two nationally released singles. With the success of these releases, Jesse was teamed up with Les Baxter (who had four #1 songs for Capitol Records). Together Baxter and Gomez composed and performed songs from the theatrical release of "Savage Sisters" (Universal Pictures).Recently, Jesse has become a regular performer on the Los Angeles local news/variety show, the KTLA Morning News. From his appearances on the Morning Show, Jesse caught the attention of the Los Angeles Dodgers who asked him to sing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium. He has been asked to perform it now on three occasions, each time to a capacity crowd of 50,000 fans. His most recent Dodger Stadium appearance was in September of 2000. |
