Artist description Glamorous is a four- piece, heavy hitting rock band hailing from the somewhat sour suburbs of Hazlet and West Keansburg, New Jersey. Their music is a collaborative effort that throws in influences of grunge, punk, and metal to make a truly authentic and rare sound. When writing, Glamorous shies away from staying contained by one genre of music to add more originality and unlock further doors to creativity. Glamorous is comprised of four long-time friends and family. Joe provides raunchy yet structured rhythm and lead guitar work, and rough, melodic lead vocals. J., with his tremendous talent, thunderous fills, and musical knowledge of the drums and percussion supplies the backbone of the band. He also throws in back up vocals. Mike, younger brother of Joe, delivers low thumping, ruthless basslines, and also adds in harmonies, and sings lead vocals on various songs. Brad brings a loud whaling guitar to the table with his monstrous solos, and cutting rhythms. He is also the newest member joining the band in the summer of 2002. Together they generate tight and well-organized songs that have no boundaries to their musical abilities. Glamorous has gathered many fans over the years by playing out at such places as, The Stony Pony, The Saint, Club Krome, Birch Hill, Hooligan's, Dock Street, and locally organized shows. Glamorous also landed radio airplay twice on WRAT 5.9, "The Electric Ballroom" and also on WNEW 102.7, "The radio Chick." They were also nominated in the Asbury Park Music Awards two years in a row. Glamorous also released a self-produced; nine track cd entitled "Plug In" that is sold at their shows. In this age of commercially driven music made only to support the new trend, Glamorous intends to break that mold and show the world what real music is all about. With their superior songwriting, a tremendous stage presence, and instinctive talent, they are determined to take on anything in their way.
