Artist History Whether she is singing about a car, a dog, a love or a lost love, Chrissy will reach your heart. This talented singer/songwriter writes songs based on real life situations where real people can relate. When listening to her origional sound you will discover that Chrissy mixes many influences not only with her large vocal range but with her songs as well. Her title cut from her new album"Are You Happy Now," may be the only song you'll ever hear that tells a complete story, has a modern dance beat and a country fiddle all in one. One thing you can say about her songs is no matter how unique they get, they all have a touch of country in them. Ever since she was a young child, Chrissy dreamed of being a country singer. By the time she reached eleven, she began to write her own songs. During her teen years, she performed in musicals at the Midland Center for the Arts. At the age of twenty, Chrissy proved her multiple musical expressions when she took the gold medal at the State Roller figure skating championships in Troy Michigan. Chrissy has performed in many country music showcases. She sang for the Tri City Opry with the Minors Junction Band. These live country music performances were held at the Created for Caring Auditorium in Bay City Michigan. Chrissy has won many karaoke contests throughout the state of Michigan including a plaque from Aurora Entertainment for "Best Female Vocalist of the Year." Today you'll find Chrissy performing live with Greg Brayton to promote her new release "Are You Happy Now." All of the songs on this album are origionals written by Chrissy and produced by Greg. Together, they put on a great show. In the past, Chrissy has been featured in major city newspapers for her accomplishments. Even though she was born with a moderate hearing loss, she does not let that get in her way. Chrissy performs at many different places where she continues to gain fans who encourage her to take her singing and songwriting just one step further...
