Artist History
This band was started in August of 1999 by Andrew Crocker. Clint Goethe and Jason Barry later joined the band. They were called "Fusion" for a while until they found out that it was already a band name. In February of 2000, Brett joined the band. We had to find a new band name. Blisstap was suggested and we all agreed on the name. We played shows, got new members, and other stuff. The longest lineup was Jason Barry - bass, Brett Kunselman - guitar/vocals, Jason Fields - guitar, Russ Gregory - drums. In the summer of 2001, Russ dropped out of the band. We got a replacement drummer named Brent to play drums for the summer. Towards the end of the summer, Brent had to leave the band. Jason and Jason, in late August, asked Brett to leave. Brett agreed on the decision and we went our seperate ways. The Jasons got a second guitarist named Zak Towe. They wrote 4 songs and were still looking for a drummer and a vocalist. Four weeks after Brett was out of the band, we found out that Brett had copyrighted the name some how. We had no choice but to give him the name. Now, Brett is Blisstap. The Jasons and Zak started a band called Across Five Aprils. A third guitarist and a drummer joined the band in late September. They are a 5 piece band now and practice a lot. A5A is planning on playing a show in December, then will start playing shows regularly in January of 2002. |
