Artist description
BIOBAK was formed in 1994 when 5 friends decided to bore the world with another metalband. They started to jam and party a lot so after a couple of months they recorded their first demo called Intoxicated. This demo got good reviews and it was one of the best ways to let the people get use to Biobak. But.. after a few gigs, all members got bored with this style and decided to move on. After struggling, drinking and fighting, they came up with a style in which all of them believed. The music became more heavy and a little slower with a touch of hardcore and of course with the musical interests of all band members. Then there were some changes in the line-up. MarcelS left and Rene joined. After this change it took some time to get used to each other, but in 1998 they recorded a MCD called Biosphere. This MCD got great reviews and took the band to a higher level, but still there was missing something. In 1999 MarcelR. left and was replaced by Asbjorn. And again they needed time to get used to each other. After these changes they played some gigs but no real new material was written. And to make the chaos complete :-), in 2000 MarcelS. rejoined the band. A couple of new song were written but there was 1 thing missing. The original line-up. To restore the original line-up MarcelR. rejoined. Now the band is ready to take a step forward and new material is to be written. |
