Press Reviews
---From the Dec. 17 issue of DirtyLungs Inc.’s "The Weekly Bag"--- ------------------Written by Jay Dewey, Music Review Editor------------------ ******************************************************************************* 3-Way? Why yes, thank you. Over the past few months I have been fortunate enough to bathe my ears and soul with the musical prowess of the Southern Indiana rock band 3-Way. The five-man trio, made up of 2 Egyptians, a recovering soap addict (who also serves as their producer), a convicted child molester, and a homosexual, put on a live show that rivals any Jerry Lewis telethon. I recently caught their act at the world famous Swahili Elks Lodge, where the lead guitarist nearly made me wet my pants with his musical genius...uhm...wait...okay, so I did wet my pants, IT HAPPENS TO A LOT OF MEN MY AGE! Now, where was I? Okay, 3-Way, currently on their world tour, has been packing such huge arenas as the Bob Inn, Friends, Angle Inn, Hill Haven, and 4 sold out shows at Popeye’s, is amassing a huge fan base, which at press time almost numbered in the teens. They bring the house down every night with their polka rendition of "What A Girl Wants," with sweet ass vocals and a bitching accordion solo. They cover many popular songs, from School House Rock to the complete Sound Of Music soundtrack. One of their original pieces, entitled "Tell Me" is one of those songs you put in your CD player, set on repeat, and listen until you go mad. No really, it is. No really, it is. No really, it is. NO REALLY, it is. |
