Artist description
Tony Fontaine's voice is as smooth as satin and as timless as music itself. His vocal styling is romatically passionate and charismatic, and has been compared to the likes of legendary icons such as Frank Sinatra and Engelbert Humperdinck. Born and raised in Chicago, Tony was first exposed to music at a very young age. He started playing the saxophone at the age of twelve. Performing a solo in front of 1,000 people, the show business bug had struck with that first taste of praise. At the age of nineteen, Tony discovered a new talent, singing. He began by mimicking some of the most popular voices. Tony then collaborated with his brother and recorded his first album, which garnered a good deal of local attention, selling hundreds of tapes without any distribution or marketing plan whatsoever. It was at this point that Tony decided to expand his musical horizons. This CD contains two brand new songs and some covers of his favorites. One aspect of his stylings is that he sings with so much heartfelt emotion. Tony's song There'll be Times shot to number 1 on the WDDV, Sarasota Fl, Playlist and remained there for months. |
