Artist History The "machine-gun sam" band began life as "Project Spork" in late 2000, after the other band BD was in broke up. When he found out that there was already a band called "spork," BD changed the name to machine-gun sam, an alias he used in high school during his Creative Writing class. mgs has record 4 albums thus far, all from within his own house. These have bee distributed to (and through) his friends.
