ANCIENT member Jesus Christ but WERE WE SURPRISED AT WHAT WE GOT!! ÊSix tracks in a strange little plastic CD case of full scale Electronic HORROR MOVIE MUSIC!!! You read right. FULLMOON SIDESHOW is not a Heavy Metal CD but it far from disqualifies it from being reviewed and revered here in ROAAR. In the Eighties when the Horror Movie revival was on, people not only went crazy for the films "Halloween", "Suspiria", "A Nightmare On Elm Street" and others they also went crazy for those eerie electronic soundtracks. What Jesus Christ, known here as "Sideshow Jesus" has done is similar to that but much, much more. Ê"No Strangers" sounds like "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" with "60's psycho-cinema music mixed in. "Killer" is just a creepy classic and great drive at midnight music. "Eating People" has touches of "The Twilight Zone Theme". If The Addams Family held a rave party, "The Theif" would be the house music!! "Pressure" throws us back into the psycho-cinema while final track "Night" has me visualizing high speed graveyard chase sequences. Excellent work!! Horror movie themes aside, FULLMOON SIDESHOW is some of the best TRUE electronic music I have heard since KRAFTWERK were at their height. Never heard of them? Trust me, It's a compliment. This is good creepy evil FUN!! THANK YOU JESUS!! Ê
