Artist History Feb 10, 1976:Born breach, almost died. c. 1981: Large tumour discovered in left ear. Underwent mastoidectomy leaving left ear deaf. Later learned tumour weighed as much as a grapefruit. c. 1983 Underwent middle ear reconstructive surgery which collapsed causing seven years of nasty infections inside my skull. Also, fell out of a tree that same year and broke my arm. It hurt very much. 1993: Broke knee skiing and neglected to get it looked at. 1995: Knee bent backwards from freak trampolining experiment. 1997: Underwent reconstructive surgery on knee. Also hit in face with a full keg of draft. Lost glasses; seven stiches later, gained a pretty scar on my right cheek. 1998: Little bit tipsy, slipped in shower, smashing hip on soap dish requiring 14 stitches. 1998: Awoke with chest pain. Turned out to be endocarditis. 1999: Infection in right ear, left completely deaf for two weeks. Currently living in a bubble breathing pure oxygen.
