Artist History
Eric E. Storeng was born in Royal Oak, MI in May of 1972.
At age four he was taking private lessons on the violin which
he played for nine years before taking up the 'Cello for four
years. Eric played with several groups and camps some of
which included the Detroit Civic Symphony, Livonia Youth
Symphony, Oakland Youth Symphony, Blue Lake Fine Arts
Camp, Interlochen, Ferndale Madrigals, as well as a chamber
orchestra and several quartet groups. At age Eighteen Eric
entered the Army as a Cavalry Scout and spent his tour of
three years in Germany before returning stateside to attend
college. Eric is self-taught on the guitar and started writing
his own music at age 22. Eric has also self-published three
books of poetry under his own publication name (Academy of
St. Winston in the Round Publications) in each year 1996,
1997 and 1998. He is currently working on a fourth book of
poetry as well as his first music album release. Eric currently
lives in Ann Arbor, MI with his three cats. |
