Artist History
An American in Paris, Matthew Russell came as a flute and saxophone player from NYC where he was playing with salsa, reggae and jazz bands. Looking towards a new horizon he travelled all over the Middle East, Europe, and Africa until he found himself based in Paris France. This is where he has been developing his New Age sound where Africa meets India coming from NYC. He has worked as producer, arranger and composer on projects distributed by Universal, sony, BMG, and EMI. His personal project, which is featured here today, is "Atmospheric Winds".
