Artist description
Trancenden makes jazzy breakbeats and funky trip hop tunes. The taste of what we cook up depends on who done it and when it was done. Tal likes the funky breaks. Dave likes the jazzy trip hop groove. When it all comes together, it's all good. |

Artist History
Trancenden's original incpetion was in the form of the "Evil F/X Crew," a collective that published skits and music on the online scene. A couple of years and quite a few cocktails later, Tal emerged on the web's music scene under the moniker Trancenden. In '96, Tal met Dave Marino at C.W. Post's radio station (WCWP) and then began to cohost an RPM show called The Aniligital Lounge. By that point Dave had been producing music for a few years, and in an endeavor to co-promote their music, they released all their music under the Trancenden name. A few more years and cocktails later, Tal moved from New York to California. This made the idea of Trancenden being a "band" in the traditional sense a bit complicated, since Dave was still in New York. However, Trancenden still releases new music all the time, so stop wasting your time reading this bio, and go download some tracks. |
