Artist description
That a Rosemary's Billygoat show can manage to be unique in a city that's seen it all, resplendant with electric chair, fire breathing, and the "five brain time helmet",is to see only one side of what makes them so special. The music...the songs...the ability to combine the raw power of Black Sabbath-esque riffs with the frenetic energy of the Dead Kennedys, complimented with a dementoid trademark sense of humor, is what sets this group apart. |

It's been about 7 years that Rosemary's Billygoat have been incubating a following based on their firey and incandecently humorous live show. Hailing from the south bay community of San Pedro, the band has been gigging non-stop.Fall of '98 saw the group
release it's first full length C.D. entitled "Cheeses of Nazareth" on Porterhouse Records. The shredding sounds are matched only by the albums satanic 3-D artwork. |

Press Reviews
Flipside Dec.'98 -Funny as shit songs like "L-Rons Army", "Pickin' Scabs", and "Gorillas and Bananas"
gave me a chance to check out what a whole lot of people have been telling me to check out with these guys. While this C.D. really didn't get my goat (no pun intended here), I'd still like to check out a gig from these satanic rock'n'roll pranksters and see what so many have come to enjoy from the powewr of Rosemary's Billygoat. |
