Artist description
Pyramadh is really just one guy, Ben Hochberg. Armed to the teeth with guitars, keyboards,
an Apple G4, and lots of great audio mixing and producing software, Pyramadh continues to develop
a unique sounding blend of metal, electronica, jazz, and blues. Pyramadh is not just a cut-and-paste
loop-based musical experience. Make no mistake,
pyramadh's music may sound like a band, but it's really a blend of virtuoso guitar, precision
drum and bass sequencing, mixed in with some smoke and mirrors.
From progressive metal, to drum and bass, to soft surf rock, to trip hop, there's
a lot to explore in the deep chasm of pyramadh's musical repertoire. |

Artist History
Pyramadh was a project that grew out of a collection of
fully-sequenced computer-based music files. These music files
used sequenced samples as the structure for the songs, including sampled
guitar, bass, synths, and an array of percussion. Soon, tracks featuring
live vocals, and live guitar playing replaced the somewhat cheesy guitar samples
found in the music. Soon enough, the computer files became real songs, and since then
it's been a sonically experimental and musically innovative battle to expand the bolundaries
of solo, guitar-driven music. Already with several mp3.com CDs available, pyramadh
seeks new and interesting soundscapes to explore, constantly marking progress with a new CD, or
performance. |
