Press Reviews
The first thing I thought of when listening to this tune was the Chemical Brothers. The same style, the same vibe, the same Big Beat flavour. But this, of course, is not them.
But wait! This is Machine Boy. A formula, which to my knowledge, combines heavy electronic experience, with guitars, and rock-n-roll influences. The combination: an extremely adrenaline-spiced experience that can be a great listen in any environment where some spice is needed, or any dancefloor where the DJ isn't scared to experiment.
This song got me going so much, that I actually wish it was longer. This, of course, isn't much of a problem, considering that the rest of the tune is almost flawless. The structure is nothing to complain about. The sound quality: close to maximum. The vocal is crisp and clear, and I love the effect were the vocal pans from left to right. The originality of this track is unquestionable, since I've never heard such an incredible mixture of instruments in a song before: synth strings, bass goodness, crisp drums, electric guitars, all played Big Beat style.
Yes, now that I listen to this goodness again, I really wish it was longer. I know Machine Boy from the past. I know that they produce good music. But this was a surprise even to me.
Even though the song is only 2:22, you'll enjoy every second that this song plays, on whatever you manage to play this song on. I recommend this to every Big Beat fan everywhere. I would also like to send this out to all music enthusiasts. To some, this Big Beat style will seem a little unusual. Of course, we are all different, and thank God for that. But maybe "Unpredictable" will make you look in a new direction.
Big Beat is a genre overshadowed by the supremacy of trance, and techno. Let big beat reign this time, and play "Unpredictable." Play it loud!
