Artist History Joe BENDIK moved to NYC in the late 80's with his band "Folk You" and gravitated to the Anti-Folk scene. As one of the earliest practitioners of Anti-Folk, BENDIK played gigs with Beck, John S. Hall/King Missile, Michelle Shocked,Paleface, Lach sharing a sensibility and sense of community not heard from since NYC's mid 70's punk hey-day..Through different incarnations, mainstay Anne Husick (who sings with Ronnie Spector) has been a vital contribution to the live sound.
