Artist History
The band formed in April 1997, as some of them were attending Greenville College in Greenville, IL. After a series of revolving musicians at lead guitar and bass, Jerkwater Junction evolved into a tightly-packed rock 'n roll outfit that had amassed a fan base in St. Louis. The band recorded the 3-song demo CD "Sidetracked" in 1998, and independently released the full-length CD "The Late, Great..." in Jan. 2000. Both can be purchased here at MP3.com. The band broke up in summer 2000, and members can now be seen in various St. Louis area musical projects. Jerkwater lead singer Corey Saathoff has embarked on a solo career, and Ex-JJ lead guitarist Dave Collett currently serves as lead shredder for The Love Experts. |
