    Artist description
The signs are evident. With the tide of culture turning in on itself, the world appears to be recognizing that there is no current cultural movement. There is no tangible world scene. However, the real subculture is here and thriving within the reach of anyone who wants to partake. The real movement is within, not without. Glampire infuses pure pop melodies with the electronic aesthetic of all that is dark, dreary and dangerous. Beats and samples loom large with heavy grooves. Hailing from Gotham City, musesick is channeled and released every year on Halloween, the most unbiased day of the year.

    Artist History
composer | producer | vocalist | multi-instrumentalist: Hailing from New York City, Glampire is on the verge of becoming rock-n-roll’s hottest property. He’s leading the cyber music revolution - often referred to by the media as, "the first international popstar off the internet".Since age 5, he knew exactly what he was born to do. Realizing he could channel the muse, Glampire embraced his destiny and took up the guitar. As a teenager, he studied privately with the legendary Robert Fripp at the League of Crafty Guitarists. Glampire later moved to NYC and joined the SqueezeBox Band where his talents were displayed weekly at the infamous nightclub. Reveling in his quiet revolution, Glampire naturally took the next step and became a solo artist. Creating his own recording realm, the ambitious and audacious rocker built Bedside Studios. With ultimate creative freedom, he was now presented with infinite possibilities. Glampire has since generated a lifetime of material and continually expands his sonic arsenal with never-ending vigor. Writing, performing and producing all of the songs on his last four internationally distributed full-length albums (Metropolis, Valley, Alliance, Navarre), Glampire has developed a serious cult following worldwide.Aside from the brilliantly written and arranged dark pop songs, Glampire’s message itself is one worth listening to. He’s a vegetarian health guru who preaches awareness, inner strength, forward motion and the new responsibility of artists in the 21st Century. He’s making history as he proves once and for all that artists no longer need to depend on the archaic politics and mood swings of the music industry for success. Glampire has arrived to the pop culture party to proclaim that it can be done.Recently, thousands of online music fans came forth to vote Glampire’s cyber-single, Shake Me Take Me Make Me, as #1 in the Jager MP3 Best Song Contest 2001 [sponsored by Jagermusic.com and Jägermeister Herbal Liqueur]. In addition to winning the $10,000 grand prize, Glampire and his band will also headline a special Jagermusic.com Party held in NYC in spring 2001 [venue and date TBA].Glampire will embark on a headlining North American tour this spring. The Glitta’ Reign 2001 tour is being booked now by Frontier Booking International (FBI).The Soft White Ghetto is the current Glampire release and has been available in stores since October 31, 2000. On this 17-track epic, gorgeous pop melodies are merged with discordant electronics. Beats and samples are cut with razor-edged guitar lines adding dance grooves to his 'glambient' foundation. The SWG has received international acclaim. One read through the press clippings and it quickly becomes clear that the hype is substantiated.Glampire is in the studio recording his next album, Drop Dead Gorgeous. This will be Glampire’s fifth album and is scheduled for release in October 2001 [US Distribution handled exclusively by Paulstarr Distributing]. Advances will be available in July. Glampire can also be found on the upcoming Tribute to Tori Amos compilation [Cleopatra Records] with his version of "Bliss". From Drop Dead Gorgeous, Glampire’s "Kill All Feelings" will be featured on Cleopatra’s Unquiet Grave III compilation. Both will be released this summer. With glowing reviews and features, the press seemingly can't get enough of Glampire and his charming wit. Enraptured fans have banded together and are thus far responsible for organizing 100+ street teams worldwide. Radio stations, DJs and clubs are requesting material in abundance. Glampire is just what modern culture has been waiting for.For Publicity, contact:Musesick Productions, Inc. | 511 Ave. of the Americas, #133 | New York, NY 10011-8436 U.S.A. | T: 212.971.1005 | F: 309.218.2738 | E: musesickpro@earthlink.net | www.musesickproductions.com

    Press Reviews
"The future of rock ‘n’ roll, not bogged down by formula or cliché... Nothing short of a masterpiece... impressive... original sound from equal parts Prince, Bauhaus, David Bowie, the London Suede and Pretty Hate Machine-era Nine Inch Nails. It’s Goth meets glam meets electronic funk-pop with consistently good songwriting." - Miami Herald, October 1999http://www.glampire.com/press.html
