Artist History
The whole thing began with frustration toward the twelve-tone system. The 144 notes on the guitar fretboard can only be combined in so many ways. Thus began an exploration into how to create music with non-musical implements. Ensembles such as Stomp and Survival Research Laboratories, have pioneered the use of found objects in performance, but Death by Drowning takes these techniques, melds them with modern technology, and creates a sound that is all their own. And the journey has only begun... |
