Artist description
Christine Clarke evokes the best of the 70's soul divas with that millenium grrrl twist. She wears her heart on her sleeve as well as Joni or Alanis ever did. She'll portray women through a telescope in songs like She Was Life and Time to Live. Christine started her career at age 17 by touring with then popular Debbie Gibson. She has played all around the world to audiences of up to sixty five thousand. Christine has appeared on many TV shows including "The Arsenio Hall". She then touured with "Stuttering John" of Howard Stern fame and even appeared on the Howard Stern Show. After a few years of touring she met Derek Sivers of www.cdbaby.com . From 1992 till 1998 they were in a funk band called Hit Me. They toured in Europe and have played to over 300 colleges. Today Christine is working on her long awaited solo career. With the help of Derek Sivers (producing), she has been turning heads of managers and industry folks. Check out her CD at www.cdbaby.com/christine/ |
